PPD makes quick arrest in criminal damaging

5/4/2012 Uniform officers with the Parma Police Department have arrested two men in connection with approx. 15‐20 vehicles that were damaged overnight in the city. Patrol Officers observed the suspect’s vehicle in the area of Pleasant Valley and Ann Arbor Drive at 3:26 a.m., stopped the vehicle and took two males into custody.

The officer’s investigation led to the discovery of the damaged vehicles on Pleasant Hill Drive, Ann Arbor Drive, Ronald Drive, Parma Park Blvd., Oakwood and Maplewood. In each case the offenders either smashed out the front or rear window of the vehicles or broke off the side mirrors.

Arrested and in custody at the Parma Police Department, charged with Criminal Damaging, CCW (knife), Underage consumption, Obstructing Official Business, and Possession of Criminal Tools are:

Michael Harkolovich W/M 19 years of age from Parma Hts., Ohio and

Alex M Hilliard W/M, 20 years of age from Parma Hts., Ohio.

Both males are being held in the Parma Police Jail. The investigation into this matter is continuing.
