Learn about the rights and responsibilities of landlords and tenants at free seminar

Parma – Landlords are responsible for maintaining their properties in good repair and safe condition, while tenants are responsible for keeping their living spaces clean and sanitary.
Dedicated to helping landlords and tenants know their rights and responsibilities, the City of Parma contracts with Gary Katz of Katz Consultants to provide information and advice, but not legal services, to commercial and residential landlords and tenants. In addition, the Parma Law Department, in conjunction with Parma Mayor Tim DeGeeter, has scheduled a Landlord/Tenant Training Seminar, which will provide information on the rights and responsibilities associated with rental properties. This free seminar is Monday, Nov. 25, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in City Hall’s Council Chambers at 6611 Ridge Road, Parma.
