Dan Hoffman appointed to Civil Service Commission

PARMA, Ohio -- Mayor Tim DeGeeter has announced the appointment of former Police Chief Dan Hoffman to serve on the City of Parma's Civil Service Commission.

Appointments to the Commission, made through the mayor's office, are for six-year terms. Former Chief Hoffman will a serve a term that began February 29, 2012 and that will end February 28, 2018.

He replaces George Oryshkewych, who served with distinction on the Commission.
