Information About Your Electric Bill

4/15/2014 FirstEnergy Solutions has advised the City that, due to January’s severe weather (Polar Vortex), you might be seeing an extra charge on your electric bill. 

FirstEnergy Solutions estimates that the one-time charge will be between $4 and $7 for Parma customers and could appear on your bill between April 15 and July under the heading “RTO Expense Surcharge.”  

The charge is being levied by FirstEnergy Solutions, NOT the City of Parma.
